Specialty Pharmacy Services

Cancer care for many patients involves managing medicine, prescriptions and drug therapies. At Baptist, our pharmacy teams dedicate their time to counseling patients and providers on the best medicine management and care.

Led by a board-certified oncology pharmacist, our Baptist Cancer Center team can help with education, guidance and even financial counseling.

Specialty Pharmacy Services

Managing a lifelong disease like cancer involves managing specialty medicines. The Baptist Hospital Specialty Pharmacy located on the Baptist Memphis campus offers Baptist pharmacy patients a convenient, tailored service for filling specialty prescriptions.

By using Baptist OneCare® pharmacy services from the Baptist Hospital pharmacy, both patients and doctors can manage medicines, reminders and refills through MyChart. Learn more about all specialty pharmacy services and benefits.

Outpatient Infusion Specialty Pharmacy Services

Bringing cancer care closer to home includes pharmacy expertise. At every Baptist Cancer Center location, including our satellite locations, our patients take extra comfort in knowing a licensed pharmacist oversees chemotherapy orders for each individual diagnosis.

Baptist Pharmacogenomics

Making sure patients are getting the right drug at the right dose is a very important aspect of chemotherapy treatments.  Depending on their DNA, patients may react differently to medications. At our Baptist Cancer Center locations, genetic testing is available to determine how our patients may react to certain medications, and help limit the side effects that they may experience as a result of their treatment.  This service is available to all patients, with a focus on our colon cancer, stomach cancer, and pancreatic cancer patients.
